Hello fellow Haug Patients,
I had an appointment yesterday, November 27th; they replaced my top wire with a steel one and I am still wearing my rubber bands, which I'm wearing more. So over all was a good visit. I am in a lot of pain though, and having a hard time eating which is normal for me, just more pain than usual; hoping it subsides within the next day or so.

Also would just like to say if anyone has any suggestions to may my blog better or even questions please feel free to ask or let me know :)

Hi everyone so I had an appointment on the 17th and got my bottom brackets on, everything is going good! I'm back to wearing my rubber bands, which of course is not fun; but here's hoping it helps :) I am having a little bit of trouble trying to get all the food off from out and around my brackets. Rinsing is helping but its aggravating to have food creep out when your not expecting it. My next appointment is November 27th my next update will come with a picture and another post :) Thanks

Hi everyone so here is a picture from my appointment from August showing how much my teeth have moved since I had the braces put on :)

My next appointment is October 17th and I'm hoping to have new pictures on again :) I will have gotten my bottom brackets put on as well! Wish me luck!

Ok I haven't posted anything in quite a while; but I'm getting excited because I will be getting the rest of my botttom braces on OCT 17th!
It'll hurt for another week or two, but on the bright side it means I'm just that much closer to having a better smile and my jaw not hurting!

So unfortunately I had to go back and see Dr. Haug 2 weeks after getting my braces on, not that it was totally a bad thing, because I received some really exciting news! My overbite has already moved! Dawn, one of the many lovely ladies who work with Dr. Haug even remarked "Someone's been wearing her rubber bands :) HECK YES I HAVE! :) Which also means I am much closer to fixing my jaw and my teeth! I'll be posting pictures after my next appointment on August 7th :)  

This blog is about my experience with braces with Haug Orthodontics! I did get my braces on yesterday, and soon after I was fine :) but my mouth and teeth are sore today, along with my gums! I do have to admit that it feels really weird to have brackets on my teeth especially since I'm not used to it. Though I know I needed the braces, this is not about how my teeth are becoming straighter, its about my jaw alignment and how it will be treated over the next 24 months!

This is also a part of my records and in this picture you can see my over-bite again, and general straightness of my teeth. 

By the time my braces are removed my jaw should have moved and my teeth should be a little straighter, and I will soon be posting a picture of my new braces!
