Hi there brace facers! I realize I'm a little late posting but things have been pretty crazy in my neck of the woods! I got a new job and while juggling that and my other job and school it got a little out of hand. But I'm back :) And happy to report that the swelling of my gums has gone down again :) YAY! And when I seen Dr. Haug's staff March 13th they replaced both wires on the top and bottom and boy was that a trip. haha! The top wire went in real smooth how ever the bottom one was a little more stubborn than planned but with much help and a little bit more pain than usual we got it! Since the wire was a little more ornery than usual we had to put a rubber band on one of my front bottom brackets which looks a little silly considering its red.... but I'll live :)

As many of you know I was having some problems still with swelling in my gums, but I am happy to report that with a new amazing toothbrush! I got a rechargeable spin-brush, definitely helps a ton! I can't believe the results I've been getting! Hope all is well with everyone else!

                 Hello Brace Face followers!
       I had a visit with Dr. Haug and her lovely ladies today at her Highland office and received good news and bad news; the good news is I only have to wear my pesky rubber bands at night! :) but the bad news is I had swollen gums from missing those hard to reach spots around my brackets! But overall it was a good appointment. Happy New Year by the way; I wonder how many of you made a New Years resolution? I did! I am going to take care of myself better by watching what goes into my body and working out more. So if you made a resolution let me know what it is :) Shout it out in a comment box below!

Hello fellow Haug Patients,
I had an appointment yesterday, November 27th; they replaced my top wire with a steel one and I am still wearing my rubber bands, which I'm wearing more. So over all was a good visit. I am in a lot of pain though, and having a hard time eating which is normal for me, just more pain than usual; hoping it subsides within the next day or so.

Also would just like to say if anyone has any suggestions to may my blog better or even questions please feel free to ask or let me know :)

Hi everyone so I had an appointment on the 17th and got my bottom brackets on, everything is going good! I'm back to wearing my rubber bands, which of course is not fun; but here's hoping it helps :) I am having a little bit of trouble trying to get all the food off from out and around my brackets. Rinsing is helping but its aggravating to have food creep out when your not expecting it. My next appointment is November 27th my next update will come with a picture and another post :) Thanks

Hi everyone so here is a picture from my appointment from August showing how much my teeth have moved since I had the braces put on :)

My next appointment is October 17th and I'm hoping to have new pictures on again :) I will have gotten my bottom brackets put on as well! Wish me luck!
